Winter Gritting, drains, potholes and street lighting
|
Please will residents continue to let me know by phone (at any time), letter or e-mail when these or any other County Council supplied services fall below the expected standards. Winter Gritting for Crowborough is an issue that has been raised by me at County on numerous occasions. Regular lobbying and optimum route management have resulted in increased gritting in Crowborough (and throughout East Sussex). The following roads have been added to the usual route: Montargis Way; Blackness Road and that part of Luxford Road past Whitehill School; Eridge Gardens extending into Millbrook Road; Mardens Hill and St. Johns Road. As in the past, residents have been made aware they can always contact me on 01892 668182 if unsalted roads are in a dangerous state. I will do my best to try to get them gritted but cannot promise that I can do so but the earlier I know of problems (messages can be left very early in the morning), the more chance I will have of getting something done before Gritting Lorries leave the area.
