I remain very grateful to those residents of Crowborough East and West Wards who voted for me and to the many people who helped with my campaign in June 2001’s County Council elections. They enabled me to more than double my majority increasing it to 1300 and remain a County Councillor for another 4 years. This provided me with an opportunity to continue working for Crowborough within a county context; one major difference this time is that Conservatives have control of East Sussex County Council. Since 1997, my style has been to do my best to keep in touch with people and representative groups in my area as often as I can, at my initiative. That will not change, but it is particularly important that people let me know about their concerns and issues that relate to County matters. If I can help, I will; if I cannot, I will try to find someone who can. I do not pretend to be all things to all people but, as always, I can be contacted by phone, fax, by letter to my home address or by e-mail, all this information can be found on my contact page. Once again, thank you for electing me as your County Councillor. Yours sincerely Tony Slack |
